National Line PI of Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity, Inc joined Always About My Father’s Business at the Georgia Housing Authority in Covington, Georgia.
ALWAYS ABOUT MY FATHER’S BUSINESS
In an unassuming and seemly remote community in Covington Georgia lies a designed neighborhood. The design is to shade a citizen who looms in the conditions of poverty amongst giant manufacturing and industrial complexes. Where at day’s end of a hard day’s work all life and civilization of these working businesses heads back to their more civilized structured lives leaving this small obscured remote village in a seemly ghostly atmosphere. But if you look a little closer, you will see an incredible sight. Peering deeper into this dissolution your investigation takes a sharp turn and you see potentially the components of a great rising.
On a typical Saturday the Intakes of National Line PI of Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity, Inc joined Always About My Father’s Business at the Georgia Housing Authority in Covington, Georgia. The mission was simple. Remind this community that “We are our Brothers and Sister’s Keepers”. In a day that was filled with fellowship, games, food and prayer, a community came together in harmony to demonstrate to the world the “Light of High Ambition.”
Always About My Fathers Business is a nonprofit organization in Dacula, Georgia stewarded by Mike and Carla Harris. This dynamic team traverses the Atlanta Metro and surrounding cities and communities peddling Wisdom, Fidelity, and High Ambition through their ministry. Their charge is not to grow a member ministry but to remind people that may have forgotten that there is a way out of a perceptive pit of destitute. Their underlying message “God has not forsaken You.” Armed with the energy of faith these Drum Majors march into battle once a month to reach out to communities, organizations and youth with standards waving majestically.
The Intakes of National Line Pi assembled with Mike and Carla Harris and a team of youth from a local teen ministry in a day that was full of inspirational moments. This was the first time that the Little Brothers had the privilege to meet a large portion of their team and equally a pleasure in meeting with their Big Brother Ambassador and Big Brother P.R.E.C.I.S.E. Although there were nervous anticipations from the Little Brothers, that soon dissipated with inquisitive resolve of enlightenment as the Big Brothers demonstrated the standards of a Lambda Man. All of the Little Brothers wised that they could have met with Big Brother I.N.F.I.N.T.Y all the while the shivering anticipation of the arrival of Big Brother Gatekeeper went unnourished also due to other Fraternal business.
Over all the community service was a success. The partnership for the day with Always About My Father’s Business and the acceptance of the community was an inspiration to us all. We all grew from the experience. We all gained a great appreciation to the sense of service. We all opened our vision to a group of people who are all on a journey of higher ambition. There is now an endless pathway that has been created by this experience if one but look to it as a choice in the path to their destination. So it is befitting to close by saying “Imperium Sine Fine.”
